八作使官名。属东班诸司使。唐玄宗置内八作使，宋改称八作使，太平兴国二年（977）分东西二使，通常无职掌，仅为迁转之阶。咸平元年（998）定为同六品，元丰改制改为正七品。政和二年（1112）废。
