释义	云梯古代攻城用的长梯。《墨子·公输》：“公输盘为楚造云梯之械成，将以攻宋。”孙诒让閒诂：“《淮南子·兵略》许慎注云：云梯，可依云而立，所以瞰敌之城中。”又《脩务训》高注云：“云梯，攻城具。高长上与云齐，故曰云梯。”《武经总要前集》卷十《攻城法》言其结构曰：“云梯，以大木为床，下施六轮；上立二梯，各长二丈余；中施转轴，车四面以生牛皮为屏蔽，内以人推进。及城，则起飞梯于云梯之上以窥城中，故曰云梯。” 云梯战国时期，云梯已成为战争中最著名的进攻工具。据说云梯乃公输般所发明。云梯是攻城的工具。据说：公输般曾“为楚造云梯之械成，将以攻宋”(《墨子·公输》)。
