释义	皇明象胥录书名。明茅瑞征撰。八卷。记明代边疆四裔与诸国情况，包括各部落、部族、国家历史沿革，山川地理，风俗民情及其与明交往等。惜明人对海外诸国疆域地理，多不明确，难免以讹传讹。瑞征后任职南京鸿胪寺，接待国内少数民族及周边诸国使者，为《周礼》秋官象胥之职掌，故以名书。
