释义	灵关关名。在今四川宝兴县南灵关。《华阳国志·蜀志》：蜀王杜宇“自以功德高诸王，乃以褒斜为前门，熊耳、灵关为后户。”其地山岭嵯峨，旁夹大路。山下峡口，宽三丈长二百步。一人守关，可以御百，极为险要。唐武德元年（618）置为灵关县。六年废为镇，属卢山县。贞元中韦皋攻吐蕃，分兵出西山灵关，即此。宋于此置灵山寨。唐宋时汉蕃以此为界。明正统初，因其关外临蕃，故改关名曰临关。
