昭信校尉官名。三国蜀置，授予出使其他政权的使臣。金、元皆置为武散官，金正七品下；元正六品，敕授。明代定为正六品武官初授之散阶称号。清初沿置，为武职中属绿营者正六品之封赠。乾隆二十年（1755）改名武信郎。
