常识	岳王会
释义	岳王会清末安徽革命团体。因仰慕民族英雄岳飞的精忠报国精神，故名。光绪三十一年（1905）初，陈独秀、柏文蔚、常恒芳等在安徽芜湖发起。以反清为宗旨。陈独秀任总会长。后又设分会于南京、安庆，运动新军，并设同心会、华族会、维新会等外围组织。接受同盟会领导，大部分成员入盟。陈独秀东渡日本后，总会陷于停顿。三十四年该会熊成基发动安庆新军起义失败后，安庆岳王会亦随之解散。
