常识	宋襄公
释义	宋襄公（？—前637）春秋宋国国君。公元前650—前637年在位。名兹父。宋桓公之子。齐桓公死后与楚争霸。襄公九年（前642），率宋、曹、卫、邾之师平齐乱，立齐孝公。次年，执滕国君。又命邾文公杀鄫国君，用以祭社，欲以此威胁东夷附宋。十二年，和齐、楚盟于鹿上（今安徽阜南南），请求楚支持宋为霸主，楚同意。同年秋，会诸侯于盂（今河南睢县西北），在会上被楚所执，因诸侯请求方获释。十三年，因郑朝楚，率师伐郑。楚救郑伐宋，遂和楚进行泓之战，为楚所败并伤股，次年伤重而死。宋襄公即“兹甫”。
