释义	三巴东汉兴平元年（194）益州牧刘璋分巴郡为三：以安汉（今四川南充市）以上为巴郡，治安汉；以安汉以下为永宁，治江州（今重庆市）；朐忍至鱼腹为固陵，治鱼腹（今重庆奉节东）。建安六年（201）改永宁为巴郡、巴郡为巴西、固陵为巴东，合称三巴。南朝宋泰始五年（469）分益州之巴郡、巴西、梓潼，荆州之巴东、建平五郡置三巴校尉，治巴东。
