释义	内操指在内廷操练宦官。始于明正德年间。武宗曾自领宦官善骑射者为一营，晨夕下操，以为嬉戏。嘉靖三十一年（1552），又置内府营，于内教场操练宦官。天启时，魏忠贤擅权，操练宦官至万人，规模最大。廷臣屡谏，然终明之世未罢。清废。
