汤阴羑里城，北距安阳市区15公里，西临京深国道、京广铁路。羑里城又称文王庙，属国家重点文物保护单位，其处有7米厚的龙山文化和商周文化遗存，是3000年前殷纣王关押周文王姬昌7年之处，是有史可据、有址可考的中国历史上首座监狱。
