进入开阳，沿贵开高速公路行驶约六、七十公里，便可进入到“十里画廊”八大旅游景点的头一个景点——凤凰古寨。此寨为三面环水、一面依山，形如半岛的村落，寨子里居住着数十户布依人家。凤凰寨坐落于凤凰山之凤头，位于“十里画廊”的北端，精巧细致、碧水潺潺，春来桃红柳绿，秋来金桂飘香。
