苏州禹王庙景区简介太湖西山岛西北甪里村北郑泾港甪头洲的一座禹王庙，为纪念治理太湖水患的大禹所建，又称禹庙、水平王庙。传说大禹在太湖西山岛的禹期山召集各路诸侯商议治水方案，“三江既入，震泽底定”，太湖水患既平，大禹受到当地人民的尊敬和爱戴，为纪念大禹，在西山岛的东西南北各建一座祠庙，经过历史的变迁，现仅存此庙。
